Seeds of Regeneration in the Magic Valley

Magic ValleyRegenerative Community and LandOctober 19, 2026

The subtropical Lower Rio Grande Valley, the Magic Valley, has long been farm country, and a circle of small growers is tending it in regenerative ways. In Harlingen, Yahweh’s All-Natural Farm Garden has grown vegetables, herbs and pastured meats with regenerative practices since 2008. In San Juan, Familias Productores del Valle offers subscriptions to organically raised produce and citrus, earthen-oven bread and free-range eggs, and in Mission, South Tex Organics grows citrus and vegetables.

These are seeds, not yet a forest: a first gathering of names worth visiting and learning from, as listed on LocalHarvest. As the feed grows, the Magic Valley’s regenerative story will grow with it.
