This policy covers visitors to elabrazodelriobravo.geoascent.net, a terraSojourn comm operated by geoAscent llc, a Colorado limited liability company. The other geoAscent sites have their own policies.

In short: this site has no forms, no advertising and no analytics. It doesn't sell or share your information for marketing.

Information collected

• Technical data. Like nearly every website, the server automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. This is used to run and secure the site.
• Choices saved in your browser. When you pick a river segment or subject, the site remembers that choice in your own browser so it's still there when you return. It stays on your device and is never sent to the site.
• Essential cookies only. The site uses only cookies needed for it to work, such as administrator sign-in. Fonts are served from this site itself, not from an outside font service.

Messages you send

This site has no contact form of its own. The Connect and Share a story links lead to terraSojourn's contact form, and anything you send there is covered by terraSojourn's Privacy Policy.

How information is used and shared

Technical data is used only to operate, protect and improve the site, and to meet legal obligations. geoAscent llc doesn't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. It is shared only with service providers who help run the site, such as the web host, when required by law, or as part of a business merger or sale.

Retention

Technical logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider and then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information held about you. Depending on where you live, including under some U.S. state laws, you may have additional rights. The site does not change its behavior for Do Not Track signals, but it already honors the intent of Global Privacy Control, since nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Other terms

The site isn't directed at children under 13. It uses an encrypted connection, and information is processed in the United States. The stories link to outside sources, which follow their own privacy policies.
